Strafford County Head Start Application Days Announced

Are you looking for high-quality preschool program this fall?  Mark your calendar and plan to attend one of Strafford County Head Start’s application days in May.  Strafford County Head Start is a program of Community Action Partnership of Strafford County, providing high-quality early education, health screenings, nutritious breakfast and lunch, family support, parent involvement and volunteer opportunities, and community resources to qualifying families in Strafford County with a child ages 3 to 5.  Extended child care may be available at some sites.

Application days will take place on May 5th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Head Start Centers in Dover (62A Whittier Street), Rochester (Community Center, 150 Wakefield Street), and Farmington (120 Main Street).  Applications will also be accepted in Rochester on May 11th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Dover on May 17th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Farmington on May 18th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.  Please register by contacting Peggy Hawksley at 603-652-0990.  If you are unable to attend these sessions, please contact Peggy to provide preliminary information over the phone and schedule an appointment.
